Gildo was born in Capraia in 1890 - Talla  - Arezzo - Tuscany - Italy, son of Luigi Bianchi (1855-1947) and X Biserni (at the moment we don't know the name). He was the fourth of four children: Maria Bianchi (female 1879-1947), Giuseppe Bianchi (male 1881-1968), Ida Bianchi (female 1887-1962) and Ermenegildo Bianchi (male 1890-1937).

While the Great War (1914-1918 ) began, he left forever his little village for the USA in 1914 at 24 years old. He said goodbye for ever to his land, his friends and his house in Capraia.
